North Macedonia and Kosovo play an active role in the efforts to reach permanent stability, good-neighborliness and economic prosperity. The countries are not only geographically close but share the same vision about the future as well. Bilateral cooperation has strengthened in many areas but there is always room for its improvement, agreed Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski and visiting Kosovo counterpart Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu on Wednesday.
“Cooperation is beneficial for our citizens and we hope that it will continue in the future. Trade is at the highest possible level. We agreed that our countries have a key role to play in efforts to achieve lasting stability. The European future of our two countries is in the EU and NATO. We support the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Kosovo and its membership in NATO,” said Pendarovski.
In the meantime, the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu stressed that the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia will continue to walk side by side on the European path.
