Macedonian basketball team to compete in pre-qualifications for the Olympic Games in Tallinn or Gliwice


The men’s basketball team of N. Macedonia will compete in a pre-qualification tournament for the Olympic Games in Paris.

A total of 32 national teams from Europe will play in four groups in Tallinn, Gliwice and Istanbul. According to the planned plan, groups A and B (the first phase) will be played in Estonia and Poland (the final in the Polish city), and groups C and D in Turkey.

As the eighth seed, Macedonia, as opponents in the first group stage, can win the selections that are in the first group of seeds (Czech Republic or Poland), in the fourth (Israel or BiH), or fifth (Hungary or Estonia).
