Even after Tuesday’s coordination of the Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi with the coordinators of the MP groups in the Parliament, it is not known to which parliamentary committee will be presented the contract that the country concluded with the American-Turkish consortium Bechtel-Enka for the construction of the highway sections from corridors 8 and 10-d.
“The position of those present at the coordination is that, since the initiative belongs to the opposition, and the opposition does not attend the coordination, the opposition should propose a competent body for reviewing the agreement to the president and determine a date when the agreement will be reviewed. Immediately after the opening of the committee session, the MPs will declare for the closing of the session for the general public,” the Parliament press service said in a statement for the media.
