Skopje Red Cross announces that more than MKD 70 million were collected to help the affected in the Turkey/Syria earthquake

In the premises of the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia, a meeting of the Committee for Transparency was held today for collected donations from the Red Cross action to help the population suffering from a catastrophic earthquake in the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic.

At the meeting, the general secretary of the Red Cross of the Republic of N. Macedonia, Sait Saiti, informed the attendees about the activities undertaken and that a total of MKD 71 million were collected, of which almost nine million denars are in material humanitarian aid, and the rest are in financial resources.
