MoI: Bulgarian MEP Kovatchev does not meet the conditions for enter the country

The Macedonian Ministry of Interior confirmed the information that five Bulgarian citizens were banned from entering the country, including MEP Andrey Kovatchev and the president of the “Bulgarian Memory” foundation, Milen Vrabevski.
“Today (May 6) around 11 am at the Novo Selo border crossing, due to non-fulfillment of the conditions for entry into the Republic of North Macedonia, according to the law on foreigners, the entry of five citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria was not allowed. The Macedonian police will not allow, neither now nor in the future, anyone to violate public order and peace and to insult and belittle the citizens and the country, and such persons will not be allowed to enter the territory of the country,” said the Ministry of Interior.
