Only 10 percent of the activities foreseen in the national anti-corruption strategy were implemented in 2022, according to the corruption barometer for April 2023, conducted by Transparency International-Macedonia, within the framework of the “Bistro-Matno” project.
The reason for this low implementation of the national strategy, according to the SCPC head, Biljana Ivanovska, is the weak commitment of the institutions, the frequent changes of ministers and a partisan administration, according to Transparency International.
