Closing arguments in the “Tetovo modular hospital fire” case postponed yet again

The hearing for the closing arguments in the court process for several crimes related to the fire in the modular hospital in Tetovo in September 2021, when 14 people were killed, has been postponed yet again.

Due to the absence of the lawyer of one of the defendants, former director Artan Etemi, Judge Jordan Velkovski rescheduled the trial for May 29 at 10 am. Earlier on April 25, closing arguments were postponed until today due to the absence of one of the defendants, the former director of the hospital, Florim Besimi. The evidence procedure in the court process ended with the last witnesses who were heard on April 6.
