In a joint action, members of the Military Security and Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, arrested a member of the Macedonian Army on Friday for committing the crime of bribery.
“The employee, using lies and manipulations, blackmailed a candidate registered in an job advertisement to pay her 3,000 euros in order to be hired. The candidate is successful and would certainly have been accepted, and the greedy employee is has been arrested, will lose her job and will be prosecuted just like her accomplices. Let this be a message for everyone: there is no place for crime in the Army!”, wrote the Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska in a Facebook post.
