Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani addressed the Macedonians living in Albania via video message, saying that the census allows them to freely express their ethnic, linguistic and religious affiliation.
“Regarding the upcoming population census in the Republic of Albania, I would like to address you Macedonians living in Albania. As you already know, from September 18 and for the next six weeks, a population census will be conducted, as the most significant statistical operation in the country. I am addressing you because I want you to be sure that this census allows you to freely express your ethnic, linguistic and religious affiliation. You don’t have to worry about anything. Albania is a free country where everyone can freely express and cultivate their identity, without worrying about any consequences” said Osmani.
