Macedonian Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski, in an interview with Voice of America – VOA discussed the fight against corruption.
“During the nine months of 2023, 78 crimes were detected with 124 perpetrators, of which 120 were physical, and four are legal entities, while an organized criminal group was suppressed, and the material damage caused is about MKD 150 million,”, said Interior Minister Spasovski, emphasizing the non-selectivity in the action, that is, that neither current nor former officials, mayors, directors of legal entities, public enterprises, employees of the institutions, including employees of the Ministry of Interior and the Army, were spared.
