VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said a date for regular elections must be set.
“Here is a proposal for Kovachevski. He can write down on a piece of paper any date he wants between the two major religious holidays next spring, so we hold the parliamentary and presidential elections at one-off cost,” Mickoski said Monday.
Addressing an event on October 23 – Day of the Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle and the 130th VMRO anniversary, Mickoski pointed out that “renewal will come, and changes will be as strong as the support”.
According to the opposition leader, “by avoiding to set a date for elections, this Government is consciously going towards causing a constitutional and political crisis”.
