Murder suspect Bore Videvski has changed the initial statement he gave before the Public Prosecutor’s Office, so now he denies guilt that he was involved in the abduction and murder of 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska and 74-year-old Panche Zhezhovski, TV Telma reports.
Initially, when he was arrested along with the other suspects Vlatko Keshishov and Velibor Manev, he claimed the opposite to the law enforcement authorities. This was confirmed by his attorney Bojan Manev after Thursday’s public session in the Supreme Court where they complained about Videvski’s detention.
“In a statement before the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the accused completely denied the existence of the two crimes, the murder of Panche Zhezhovski and the murder of the teenage girl in Skopje, and after the inspection in the Public Prosecutor’s Office, we will submit appropriate evidence that will confirm his claim,” said Manev.
Videvski requested in the highest court that he be placed under house arrest, because there were no grounds for him to be kept in the Shutka prison.
The Supreme Court rejected the appeal, meaning that Videvski will remain in prison detention.
