Angelovska-Bezhoska: Policies for greater financial inclusion of women are necessary for faster economic growth


The greater financial inclusion of women entrepreneurs through developing skills, knowledge, the creation and monitoring of appropriate data and access to financial resources are the main goals of the pilot project that will be managed by the National Bank with the support of the EBRD, through which bridges will be built between the public and the private sector to increase the financial inclusion of women, which will contribute to the creation of new businesses and jobs and to drive economic growth, said Nationa Bank Governor Anita Angelovska-Bezhoska in her presentation at the panel discussion “Supporting women in finance – breaking down barriers” organized by the University of Tetovo.

As part of the working visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of education and research was signed between NBM and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tetovo by the NB governor and the university rector Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
