Darko Kostadinovski elected as new Constitutional Court president


Judge Darko Kostadinovski has been elected as the new president of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Constitutional Court said in a press release on Tuesday.

The Constitutional Court adds that more information regarding Kostadinovski’s election will be announced sometime today.

The Constitutional Court failed to elect a president in several attempts in the past few days.

In 2018, DarkoKostadinovski was elected as a new constitutional judge after 66 MPs voted in favor, with no votes against and no abstentions.
