Constitutional judges report death threats to the MoI

The President of the Constitutional Court Dr. Darko Kostadinovski submitted a report on Monday to the Ministry of Interior, regarding threats to the life and safety of judges of the Constitutional Court, the Constitutional Court informed on Monday.

The court says that the report was filed due to direct threats directed at a judge, that is, judges related to the handling of a specific case by the Court.

Kostadinovski most strongly condemned the threats addressed to the judges, noting that in a democratic society, such and similar threats represent an attack on the integrity of the Constitutional Court, but also a direct pressure on the independent and independent decision-making of all judges.

“The court expects the competent authorities to professionally and promptly take all the necessary measures and activities to shed light on this, but also similar threats to judges,” the Constitutional Court pointed out.
