Linear pension increase of MKD 5,000 on the first government session agenda

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski informed Monday that the first government session will be held at the end of the week. Several decisions will be made and announcements will be made that work will begin on the new legal solution for a linear increase in pensions.

The first session of the Government will be held at the end of the week. We are also starting to work on the new legal solution for the linear increase of pensions. What we promised in the pre-election – to have a linear increase of 5,000 denars in pensions in the first year. We start with the Minister of Social Policy, Demography and Youth Fatmir Limani, and the Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska. Tomorrow or the day after we will have a working meeting at my place, we are starting to draft this law which will soon be in the Parliament. We will do what we promised to the citizens, Mickoski said.
