No more economic directors in healthcare in a month or two

The new Minister of Health Arben Taravari informed that he has given an order to dismiss the economic directors whose term ends, and an order has already been given to implement in the Parliament the amendment of the law on abolishing the position of economic director of clinics.

As Taravari informs, 7-8 acting directors out of a total of 14 will be dismissed on Monday.

“A certain number of economic directors whose term ends are being dismissed today. For those with a slightly longer term, we will need amendments to the law. Consider that in a month or two there will be no economic directors. I don’t want those who have a term until August, September to sue us, involve the courts, etc.,” Taravari said in a statement to the media on the his first day since taking office.
