Mucunski-Stoltenberg: We remain a credible NATO member with a contribution to global peace and regional stability

Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade TimchoMucunski, as part of his first working visit to Brussels, met with the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the headquarters of the Alliance.

“The continuation of the close coordination and joint activities of NATO and the EU is particularly significant, primarily through the acceleration of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes of the countries of the region, which is particularly important for consolidating regional stability, security and prosperity,” noted Mucunski.

At the meeting, the success of the country in relation to the achieved threshold of more than 2% of GDP for defense was welcomed, which is an indication that the country is a credible NATO ally dedicated to the preservation of transatlantic stability.
