Balancer is not being canceled, but promoted into law, says Mexhiti

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Izet Mexhiti, commenting on the removal of the non-resident population from the so-called Balancer, emphasizes that it is not being abolished, but, as he said, is being promoted into a law for fair representation.

“The balancer is not being canceled, but promoted, and this will be in the capacity of a law for fair representation. So, it will be in the interest of the multicultural and multi-ethnic state of North Macedonia,” Mexhiti said.

According to the Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, the time of balancing by ethnic key remains in the past, but, as Andonovski said, all this will be done respecting the fundamental values of the Constitution.
