Toshkovski – Yoder: Strengthening cooperation with U.S. for prosperous and safe future


Macedonian Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski, who is part of the government delegation attending the NATO Summit in Washington, met with Brandon Yoder, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).

As announced by the Ministry of Interior, they discussed the important aspects of the cooperation with our strategic partner the USA, as well as the integration into the European Union, a process which, as they emphasize, is of crucial importance for the future of N. Macedonia.

“We also discussed the border management system and our plan for reforms in this part, which include the use of technological achievements in the direction of more efficient surveillance of the green border,” Minister Toshkovski pointed out after the meeting.

One of the most important topics of the meeting, according to the Ministry of Interior, was the fight against organized crime and high corruption and the opportunities for cooperation in the area of ​​training and strengthening of human and material resources, in order to more successfully deal with these challenges
