The Energy Regulatory Commission (REC) at a news conference on Monday is set to reveal the new heating price that will be valid starting August 1.
The last calculations are being completed, and it is possible to reduce the price of thermal energy, which will be paid by about 60 thousand households.
REC recently pointed out that due to the low prices of gas on the stock markets in Europe, there will likely be a slight price reduction. The requests of the three energy companies were reviewed and it was decided what would be accepted as an expense and what would not.
It is not yet known whether the heating season will start without the main hot water network, because the pipes on the Skopje Belasica bridge have not yet been installed, and there is no announcement when and if it will be done.
