Up to 100 million euros for alleged aid to companies, but no one knows for what, how and with whom this money ended up, is just another proof of a robbed state, said VMRO-DPMNE MP and party spokesperson Marija Miteva on Thursday.
“According to the SDS/DUI government, decrees with legal force for financial support of employers from the private sector should have been suitable for 87 percent of companies. But where did the money end up? Most likely, he was referring to IGM Elenica, which was one of the companies that received state aid for the payment of minimum wages during the crisis caused by the coronavirus. The joint-stock company is managed by Trajche Zaev, Zoran Zaev’s cousin, while Vice Zaev, the brother of the then PM, was a member of the Management Board. This is how the money from the so-called state aid ended up. In addition, the number of closed companies in the post-COVID years, 2021 and 2022, also shows that the measures did not yield results. In these two years, a total of nearly 14,000 companies have shut down. Well, here the question arises quite logically, where did 100 million euros of state aid for companies end up if we have such statistics and numbers that show the opposite?,” said Miteva.
