Open political issues should be resolved with mutual respect and dialogue, says Mucunski

In an interview with the Vecher daily newspaper, Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski discussed several issues, including Bulgaria’s demand for constitutional amendments, the results of the census in Albania, the announcements from Greece about the “secret weapons” due to non-compliance with the Prespa Agreement, investments and trade, as well as general support from the international factor for the country’s strategic goals.
Mucunski noted in the interview with the newspaper that N. Macedonia’s international partners, primarily from the NATO Alliance and the European Union, are satisfied with the first few weeks of the work of the new Macedonian government and the sincere commitment to implement serious internal reforms, while also recognizing the Government’s capacities to be a factor of stability in the entire region.
Regarding the issue with Greece and the announcements by the Greek side about the possession of “secret weapons” due to possible non-compliance with the Prespa Agreement, he says in the interview that it is necessary for neighbors to be united in common goals, and for politicians to be pacifists who use conventional diplomatic tools.
