SDSM expects in the shortest possible time that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and internal control will come out with detailed information to the public about what exactly happened at the Skopje airport in the incident with the Kosovo President. The Ministry of Interior must inform what was the role of people from the security of Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi and, in accordance with the laws, initiate proceedings against those who violated the authorizations. If he does not do this, it will be a clear confirmation that the facts are being hidden in order to protect inter-coalition relations.
“SDSM has complete information about what exactly happened and if the Ministry of Interior tries to fill the facts, everything will be published. The investigation of this case should not pose any problem for the Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor’s Office because the airport is under full video surveillance and they can determine all the details without any problem,” said the main opposition party.
