We have a realistic GDP projection, although it is also accompanied by risks. The importance of realistic projections stems from the fact that unrealistic GDP also produces unrealistic expenditures in user budgets, which are ultimately spent unproductively, pointed out the Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska at a press conference on Saturday.
“The first quarter and the indicators from the second quarter indicated that the projected growth with the initial Budget of 3.4% will not be realized. Therefore, the 2024 GDP growth projection has been revised to 2.1%. We undertake activities and are focused on the realization of capital investments, we exert pressure to realize projects in order to stimulate the economy. The economy is the priority and our interest is focused on that,” said Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska.
