The Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade called on its nationals currently in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible, citing the worsening security situation in the country.
In a press release on Sunday, the MFA also urged citizens to postpone any non-essential travel to Israel, given the unpredictable security situation in the Middle East.
“Additionally, Macedonian nationals currently in Israel should follow the instructions of the national security authorities and depending on the need and the development of the security situation, depart Israel,” said the MFA.
