The refrigerator and the chamber in the Public Health Institute (PHI) where the reagents for the detection of a large number of diseases are kept are kept under lock and key in separate rooms, said the PHI director Marija Andonovska, pointing out that there will be constant control, i.e. a record of who enters those rooms, who takes and how much of those reagents, after a few days ago these devices were disconnected from the electricity.
Taking materials to prove whooping cough, making an antibiogram or urine culture will be recorded in detail.
The PHI announced Friday that the expert report was ready, which showed that despite the power outage, all reagents in the refrigerators are functional.
The event took place on Wednesday, in the department of bacteriology, when immediately after the end of working hours, employees informed the director that the electricity was disconnected from the refrigerator and one chamber with reagents.
