Police detain 18 young Serbian, Albanian and Ukrainian women in a Zhelino nightclub

On August 4, 2024, police officers from the Tetovo Police Department conducted a raid in a nightclub in Zhelino near Tetovo, in order to detect foreign citizens with irregular stay or abuse of stay in the area.
“Eighteen foreign women between the ages of 24 and 26 were found and detained: two from Serbia, seven from Ukraine, 10 from Albania, and one 46-year-old male from Albania was also detained, who were staying in the area contrary to the purpose, i.e. they did not have adequate documentation. They have been detained at the police station for further proceedings, after which appropriate submissions will follow”, informed the Ministry of Interior.
