Due to several registered cases of circulation of counterfeit money in Kosovo, the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo along with the Economic Crime and Corruption Investigation Department of the Kosovo Police, with the support of other investigative and intelligence authorities in that country, from 2023 Several activities aimed at preventing the distribution of counterfeit money, especially euros, on the Kosovar market were launched in 2018, which was disrupting the market and the public interest, said the Skopje Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday.
