Naim Bajrami, a former minister from the now opposition SDSM and DUI ruthlessly spent public funds at expensive bars on food and beverages, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski said at a press conference on Tuesday.
“In just one day on March 27, 2024, Naim Bajrami spent MKD 48,500 in the Kapri restaurant in Skopje. On the bill of 48,500 denars, Bajrami, in addition to other dishes, spent over 10 thousand denars on prosciutto. Who did Bajrami entertain and how was the public money spent, when 2 minimum wages were spent for one lunch. Bajrami in a bar in 2 hours spent as much money as an average family needs to spend the whole month. The rampant spending by SDS and DUI and their ministers like Naim Bajrami has resulted in a looted state. The SDS/DUI authorities robbed everything, starting with expensive lunches and thousands of euros from official cards, ending with murky tenders,” Petrushevski pointed out.
