A total of 41 wildfires were reported across the country on Tuesday. Six are still spreading, nine are under control, and 26 have been completely extinguished, the Crisis Management Center said on Wednesday.
Of the active wildfires, the first one is in the municipality of MakedonskiBrod, near the villages of Tazhevo and Breznica and near the Jasen national park. The second is on the territory of the municipalities of DemirHisar and Ohrid – Ilinska Mountain, near the villages of Vitovo, Bazernik, MaloIlino and Brezhani. The third is in the territory of the municipality of Chaska, near the villages of Papradiste and Oreshe. The fourth is in the region of the municipality of Petrovec, near the villages of Gradmanci and Divlje. The fire is also active in the municipality of Kochani – a place called Panagjur, near the Ponikva resorts. The last of the wildfires is in the municipality of Studenichani, near the villages of Drachevica and CrvenaVoda.
