The Macedonian Interior Ministry said on Thursday it is acting upon a request submitted by the Austrian authorities for information on an individual from the country suspected of planning a terrorist attack in Vienna.
“The Interior Ministry informs the public that the Austrian authorities have sent a request to the Ministry of Interior to check a person who is originally from Macedonia, and who is suspected of a planned terrorist attack in Vienna. We are acting according to the submitted request, the Interior Ministry said in a press release.
Austrian police have arrested two people suspected of planning attacks on megastar Taylor Swift’s concerts in Vienna. One person, a 19-year-old man, as announced by the Austrian media, comes from North Macedonia.
