Over 500 first-graders were enrolled less than last year in May for the new 2024/2025 school year, said Macedonian Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska.
We have 500 fewer first-graders enrolled than in May last year, Janevska said. It is a result of the exodus from the country and that trend is clearly continuing, added the education minister.
