Dario Ivanovski is the last Macedonian athlete to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Ivanovski is set to run the marathon Saturday morning through the streets of the capital of France. Before tomorrow’s race, Ivanovski said that he had been preparing for this moment his entire life.
“I have been preparing for this kind of event my entire life. For three weeks I have been timing the form perfectly. I can tell that it has increased and the energy is wonderful with all the athletes around me.
I feel ready. I expect to be in the top half and run my best race. I hope entire Macedonia enjoys the Olympic race tomorrow with me,” said Ivanovski.
