More than 180 million Macedonian denars have been paid to 5,047 farmers, beneficiaries who have produced and delivered cow’s, sheep’s and goat’s milk through the Ministry of Finance, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Cvetan Tripunovski said in a press release on Friday.
Minister Tripunovski adds that the payment refers to the months of May, June and July 2023, and is only a small part of what will follow as a payment in the next period.
“I’m sorry that these subsidies have not been paid yet, but as a new Government, my Ministry, the Ministry of Finance, we are making a serious effort and we are already showing in action how the Ministry and the state should really take care of farmers,” stressed Tripunovski.
