In the following days, the weather will be sunny and very hot, especially at the beginning of next week, when the orange heat alert will be activated in several places for the danger of high temperatures, the National Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR) said on Friday.
The temperature is expected to reach 40 °C on Tuesday.
According to UHMR, a moderate, occasionally strong northerly wind will blow along Povardarije during the upcoming weekend.
It will be sunny and warm on Saturday with little local cloudiness and a maximum temperature of 38 °C, and in Skopje it will be sunny and warm with little cloudiness and a temperature of up to 37 °C.
