The outgoing management of the state electricity production companies ESM and TPP REK Bitola, appointed by the former Government, in a period of one month called for ten tenders, which are obviously associated with crime and corruption, and they will be held accountable for it, stated VMRO-DPMNE MP BojanStojanoski at a press conference on Saturday.
He showed documents according to which ESM through REK Bitola concluded with MarkovskiKompani on 08.05.2023, for overhaul activities at a price of MKD 1,516 per hour. And then with a contract dated 17.07.2024 for overhaul activities of the same company MarkovskiKompani, concluded at a price of MKD 3,947 per hour.
Thus, according to Stojanoski, in one year for a similar type of activity REK Bitola paid MarkovskiKompani two and a half times more for one hour of work performed. He pointed out that MarkovskiKompani did not operate at a loss on the tender in 2023, but made a profit.
Stojanoski estimated that the difference in the amount of MKD 90 million, or EUR 1.5 million, was lost, so the question arises as to where over MKD 90 million ended up, and he expressed doubt that the party activities of the opposition SDSM will be financed with that money.
