Delegations will lay wreaths on Saturday at several memorials across Skopje to mark 23 years since the death of eight army reservists in the area LjubotenskiBachila.
Ministry of Defense and Army delegations led by Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General VaskoGjurchinovski, will pay their respects at the memorials in GjorchePetrovmunicipality, the villages of Volkovo and Ljubanci, as well as the Ilinden army barracks.
A delegation of the Parliament of North Macedonia, including Karolina Naskovska and BlagojBochvarski, will lay flowers at the memorial in the village Ljubanci.
On 10 August 2001, an army vehicle hit two planted mines at a road near LjubotenskiBachila. Skopje garrison reservists Tome Badarovski, GoceChankulovski, BrankoJanev, TomislavNastevski, MarjanchoBoshkovski, IvicaZlatevski, Tome Dimoski and RadeJankovski were killed in the incident.
