For three days now, the wildfire on the Bukovikj peak, on the Vlaina Mountain near the village of Negrevo, Pehchevo municipality, is still active. As informed by the Pehchevo Voluntary Fire Fighting Association, several helpers were involved in extinguishing the fire on Tuesday, for which they expressed great gratitude for the help.
“Our heroes from DPD “Pehchevo”, DPD Kochani, DPD-Vinica, TPPE Berovo, TPPE-Kavadarci, along with the Forestry Police deserve credit for the extinguishing. Then employees of the Municipality of Pehchevo, employees of public enterprises in the municipality of Pehchevo, PE Komunalec, representatives from the “Ravna Reka” PSS – Pehchevo, PE Macedonian Forests from Berovo, Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Center for Crisis Management, volunteers, the local population, volunteers from neighboring cities, mechanization of socially responsible firms and companies. Members of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior, the helicopters of the Ministry of the Interior and ER Tractors of the SSO arrived to help,” informed the Pehchevo association.
