At the “General Mihailo Apostolski” Military Academy – Skopje, a promotion of officers and non-commissioned officers took place, as well as a promotion of the 24th class of cadets in the rank of second lieutenant, the trainees of the Course for service officers in the initial officer rank and the trainees of the basic course for non-commissioned officers in the rank of sergeant.
Macedonian Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski emphasized in his address that they have a chance to contribute and cooperate. The minister pointed out that, as a defense minister, he is committed to improving conditions, increasing human capacities, and modernizing the Army.
“Your promotion today is recognition of your work, but also proof of the trust we place in you. You are part of the Macedonian army, part of the institution with the greatest trust in the homeland and part of a system whose key link is you. As you accept your new tasks and goals in the service, remember that leadership is not only authority, leadership is also inspiration, setting an example and fostering a work environment in which everyone can thrive,” noted Misajlovski.
