Money collected at Customs, taxes and tolls under SDS/ DUI rule ended up in private pockets instead of the Budget, the ruling VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release on Tuesday.
“Record collection of customs, taxes and tolls was realized in the month of July, after VMRO-DPMNE took over the government and appointed its own personnel to the director positions of these administrations and enterprises.
Both the Customs Administration and the Public Revenue Office have record collected revenues of over 25.4 billion denars, and the State Roads Public Administration has over 16 million denars more realized in July this year compared to 2023.
It’s quite obvious that there is money. The difference is that with SDS and DUI in government they were stolen, and now instead of private pockets they end up in the Budget.
Soon the citizens will see the difference through bigger pensions, new schools, preschools, hospitals. And the criminals from the ranks of SDS and DUI will be held accountable for the looted state,” said the ruling party.
