DUI’s separate event on the 23rd anniversary of the Ohrid Framework Agreement is a party celebration, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti said in a comment on the “parallel celebration” held ahead of the formal session of the Government scheduled to mark the occasion.
According to Mexhiti, the Ohrid Framework Agrement was an agreement on how the state would function, “and not an agreement on how one political party would remain in power forever”.
Asked for a comment after a panel discussion dedicated to 23 years of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, Mexhiti assessed that it was typical of DUI when they were in power “to devalue the Framework Agreement with concerts and organizing outside the institutions”.
