The Customs Administration said Tuesday it has disrupted an international channel for illegal trade of anabolic steroids, whose production, sale and use are banned by law. According to the head of the Customs Administration, BobanNikolovski, 192 kilograms of anabolic steroids worth MKD 5.5 million have been seized, with charges filed against the perpetrators.
“Oral steroids Oxanabolic and Metanabol, as well as injectable steroids Testec, Testen and Sustamix have been seized,” Nikolovski said at a press conference.
Macedonian Sports Minister BorkoRistovski vowed that the country will firmly oppose the use of prohibited substances in sports.
