Justice is coming. A bribe has been confirmed in the case of the Supreme Judge and former member of the judicial council Nakje Georgiev from Strumica, a close person to Zoran Zaev, who in turn is Venko Filipche’s mentor, VMRO-DPMNE MP and member of the party’s Executive Committee Mile Lefkov told a press briefing on Thursday.
“Nakje Georgiev, through an agreement with the Public Prosecutor, pleaded guilty to committing a crime. Georgiev admitted that he took a bribe of 10,000 euros to obtain a lighter prison sentence for Boro Marlboro. Acknowledgment that Nakje Georgiev took the money as a reward for the lighter sentence imposed on Boro Marlboro, in addition to himself, was also given by Ixhet Memeti, vice president of the Council of Public Prosecutors. Together, as Memeti said, they helped Boro Marlboro get a lighter sentence,” said Lefkov.
The MP pointed out that Judge Nakje Georgiev and lawyer Ixhet Memeti are an example of the corrupt judiciary and prosecution during the period SDSM and DUI’s rule, which caused the judiciary and prosecution to have only 2 percent confidence among the people.
