The folk culture festival “Pobrazhenje” is an important part of our cultural fabric, an event that maintains the living connection between the past and the present, the Macedonian Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov pointed out Saturday evening at the opening of the 14th edition of the festival organized by the “Drimkol” art-cultural association.
“Pobrazhenje”, the minister said, is a place where generations come together and where culture acquires a new dimension through the performances and creativity of artists and performers from several countries.
“For a country that wants to develop its culture, tradition and customs, it is very important to support such events, especially those that have the sign of folklore, because here the parallel is made between what was in the past and what is today. Let’s educate our children and pave the way for them to know their own history, culture and tradition,” added Ljutkov.
