Last weekend, over 102,000 passengers entered and left the country at the Tabanovce border crossing, the Ministry of Interior informed on Monday. During the summer period, the frequency of the already busiest crossing in the country is increased.
On August 17th (Saturday), 57,579 passengers entered/exited, and about 15-20,000 vehicles, while on August 18th (Sunday), 44,721 passengers entered/exited, and about 14,000 vehicles, without taking into account cargo motor vehicles. Monday, from midnight to 09:00 a.m., 1,953 passengers entered and 1,947 passengers exited, or a total of 3,900 passengers, the Ministry of the Interior informs.
During the working days, about 6,500 to 7,000 vehicles cross the border crossing, while on the weekend the number increases.
