The Staro Nagorichane firefighting team intervened on two fires caused by a lightning strike, the Kumanovo Regional Center for Crisis Management informed on Monday.
A tree and a dry tree were set on fire on Sunday by a lightning strike in the village of Dragomance, and firefighters also intervened in Oblavce, where an electric pole and a power meter were set on fire by a lightning strike. A house was also burned in this village, and the fire, as stated, was caused by an electrical installation. The Kumanovo firefighters extinguished dry fires in Vaksince, Lojane, Shupli Kamen Gorno Koynare and Vince, where there was also a burning building in addition to the grass.
