Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met with the Adjutant General of the Vermont National Guard, Major-General Gregory Knight, and the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, Nicole Varnes, discussing the overall cooperation between the country and the Vermont National Guard as an important part of the strategic partnership with the U.S. and the continued
support provided by the U.S. for the country’s Euro-Atlantic integrations and its democratic development, security and stability, the President’s Office said on Monday.
President Siljanovska-Davkova expressed her gratitude for the support of the Army’s modernization and equipping projects and emphasized the important role that the Vermont National Guard played in meeting NATO standards and the country’s joining the Alliance.
