National Bank Governor Anita Angelovska-Bezhoska and the Director of the Customs Administration Boban Nikolovski held a meeting Tuesday at the National Bank, where they discussed the cooperation between the two institutions so far and the further activities for its deepening.
The focus of the talks was the further digitization of the processes of the two institutions, especially related to the provision of data through the Customs Declarations and Excise Documents processing System (CDEPS), which are the basis for compiling part of the external statistics. The meeting highlighted the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in several areas, with special emphasis on the process of data and information exchange and the need to increase efficiency through greater digitization.
