The Organization for Dialogue and Affirmation of High School Students and Students (ODAS) demands from the City of Skopje by the beginning of the school year to provide buses that will run on time and be available for students to attend their classes.

In a letter to the media, ODAS indicates that “dysfunctional and unreliable public transportation can leave high school students and students without a way to get to school or college”.

“The current halt and disruption in the public transport system in the City of Skopje has led to the possibility that pupils and students will be left without a reliable and affordable way to get to school or college. The lack of reliable public transportation has become an obstacle to affordable education for many students. We ask the City of Skopje to commit to solving this problem by September, that is, by the beginning of the academic year, during which safe and functional buses will be provided and the timeliness of the lines will be ensured,” reads the press release.
